A relação professor-aluno depende de dois fatores. Primeiro, como realmente um professor orienta o aluno na direção de um propósito de vida que corresponde ao temperamento do aluno e sua inteligência. Segundo, como os alunos realmente seguem o conselho que é vantajoso para o futuro. Presentes generosos e demonstrações de deferência não são o ponto.

 

The teacher-student relationship depends on two factors. First, how genuinely a teacher guides the student toward a life purpose that matches the student's temperament and intelligence. Second, how genuinely the students follows advice that is advantageous for the future. Lavish gifts and displays of deference are not the point.
